The conference on the Role of Science in the Information Society will take place at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, located on the Swiss border with France, near Geneva.

Reception for the conference will be at Building 33, between CERN entrances A and B.

Attendance at this event will be by invitation only. Requests for invitations can no longer be accepted.

Applications for fellowships are now closed.

Registration is now closed for all except journalists. As stated in the invitation letter, deadline for registration was 3 December.

Journalists who bring proof of media accreditation may register at CERN Reception beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday.
